The existing bridge and sections of the trail within Sundance will be closed beginning Thursday 9/7/23 to allow construction of the new, ADA compliant bridge. The tentative schedule for the new bridge install and trail work is as follows:
9/7/23: Close existing bridge and begin bridge removal and excavation
9/15/23: Begin pile-driving for new abutments
10/6/23: Set new bridge in place
10/9/23: Pave trail connections to bridge, install lighting and all trail components
10/31/23: Open new bridge and trail
